Zūzena was selected as the most suitable in the competition, in which 78 applicants had applied for five places on the board of LSM.
The Chairman of the Council of Public Electronic Media (SEPLP) Jānis Siksnis did not comment on this information to the LETA agency, but stated that on Wednesday, October 30, a SEPLP meeting will be held on the results of the competition.
Zūzena is currently the head of the “Commercial Education Center” consulting company. From 2004 to 2007, she was the marketing and program director of TV3, and from 2007 to 2019 – managed TV3 and the entire media concern “Modern Times Group” (MTG), which later became “All Media Latvia” and in which includes several TV channels, a radio station and portals.
Before joining the MTG team in 2004, Zūzena worked in advertising agencies “Creative Laboratory”, “DDB Latvia” and “Saatchi & Saatchi Latvia”.
Zūzena obtained a bachelor’s degree in clinical psychology from the University of Latvia, and a master’s degree in business management (MBA) from the “Riseba” university.
It has already been reported that at the beginning of April, the merger of Latvian Radio and Latvian Television began, with the two state capital companies merging to establish LSM, which will begin work on January 1, 2025.
