Knesset Member Zvi Sukkot Demands 100,000 Shekels from Former General
Member of Knesset Zvi Sukkot is currently demanding 100,000 shekels from former Southern Command General Dan Harel. This demand comes after Harel accused Sukkot of being responsible for diverting a battalion from Gaza to Judea and Samaria in order to protect his Sukkot in Hawara.
In an interview with Ben Caspit and Vinon Magal on 103FM, Sukkot gave his version of the affair, which led to a heated confrontation with Caspit. Sukkot vehemently denied the accusation made by Harel, stating that the claim that battalions were diverted from Gaza to guard his Sukkot has been circulating for too long.
Sukkot insists that the Sukkot in question only stood for two hours and was guarded by two MPJ jeeps and several soldiers who were already in Hawara. He also stated that the Shomron Brigade asked him to dismantle the Sukkot, which he complied with.
