‘World Theme Travel – My Liberation Journey, Peru’ Part 3 ‘The Road to Machu Picchu’ will air on EBS1 TV today (the 3rd) at 8:40 PM. Choi Yoon-ji (South American sports interpreter) will join.

The journey begins in Ollantaytambo, a city filled with excitement for travelers heading to Machu Picchu! Among the many ways to get to Machu Picchu, we drive along the Inca Road in a cool private vehicle.

A huge valley in the Andes Mountains, the Sacred Valley was once the territory of the Incas. There, we meet the Quechua people cultivating strawberry fields and take a bite of Peruvian strawberries.
A special capsule hotel restaurant with a panoramic view of the valley, and rock climbing awaits them! Choi Yoon-ji, an interpreter from a physical education university, and PD of World Theme Travel, who is experiencing physical decline. The sight of the two people vigorously climbing the dizzying rock face 2,900 meters above sea level for lunch is a spectacular sight.

Next stop was the Inca natural salt pans, Salinas de Maras, built in terraces on the mountain ridge. How did they make salt pans in the mountains? The Inca’s amazing wisdom is endless. After a long day, we arrived at the Bubble Hotel! We admired the magnificent and mysterious aura of the Andes while looking at the sunset.

Heading to Santa Teresa. On the way to Machu Picchu, from here, we take the train! Interpreter Choi Yun-ji runs as soon as we arrive at Aguas Calientes, the closest border town to Machu Picchu. This is because of the daily limited number of Machu Picchu admission tickets! Half a day passes while buying admission tickets, and we end the tiring day.

Finally, we arrived at Machu Picchu. The lost city that Spain could not find, preserves the amazing heritage of the Incas. But everything about the Incas remains a mystery that stimulates the imagination of future generations. What kind of civilization were they?
