A community and family organized around blood relations. But we have something more affectionate than this. A family refers to someone who shares a meal together. Even if you are not related by blood, if you share a warm meal and depend on each other, wouldn’t this be a family in the true sense of the word?

But right here, there is a slightly unique type of family. People who have a slightly awkward relationship in the eyes of the world, but who accept each other as family and lead a warm daily life. People who are not related by blood, but live with a strong bond of caring and understanding for each other.

A family story filled with the warmth of spring and the scent of people. Let’s take a look at the daily lives of those who give us strength to live a difficult life.

This week (April 8-12) EBS 1TV current affairs and culture program <한국기행>5 episodes of ‘Isn’t It Good (Family)’ will be broadcast. Today (11th) at 9:35 PM, EBS <한국기행> In Part 4 of ‘Isn’t It Good (Family)’, the ‘Good Morning Vietnamese Family’ episode will be broadcast.

Strong waves, ever-changing sky. People who make the rough sea their home rely on each other for their lives, so they become a family with a strong bond that is more than just colleagues.

The same goes for Moon Bok-su, who works at the sea in Incheon Metropolitan City. Mr. Moon Bok-su, who was sometimes an older brother and sometimes a father, and worked hand in hand with his crew.

His fellow sailors who are like family are from Vietnam, not Korea.

however! What connection did you have in your past life? Moon Bok-soo’s relationship with Vietnam did not end here. His wife was also from Vietnam.

His daily life is filled with Vietnamese music, whether at the sea or at home, and he is familiar with Vietnamese food with lots of coriander. He is confused as to whether it is Korean or Vietnamese. A unique scene was unfolding where more Vietnamese was heard than Korean.

Although they cannot communicate properly, they communicate with their eyes and share their feelings with bright smiles.

We meet the ups and downs of their daily lives as they create a new ‘family’ beyond language and nationality.

EBS’ ‘Korea Travel’, a space travel in search of Korea’s hidden scenery and a beautiful time travel documentary program that allows you to feel and convey the scent of history, customs, architecture, and culture, is broadcast every Monday to Friday at 9:30 PM.
