Commentary:

It depicts a family’s struggle against a strange creature that appears in the Han River. <괴물>(2006), Disaster caused by a large tsunami that hit Haeundae <해운대>(2009), Infection disaster situation caused by the killer parasite ‘Yeongasi’ with a 100% fatality rate. <연가시>(2012), etc., the common keyword for box office hits that have taken over the theaters is ‘Korean-style disaster movies’ with the three elements of subject matter, story, and acting ability. <더 테러 라이브>presents extreme tension through the realistic fear of a bombing occurring on the Mapo Bridge over the Han River, a peaceful space of daily life, as well as the unique setting of conveying the disaster situation through the format of a live news broadcast. In addition, the twists and turns of the confrontation between the unidentified terrorist, who is constantly applying pressure in completely unpredictable ways, and the news anchor, who is engaged in a fierce battle of wits against him, make it impossible for the audience to take their eyes off even for a moment.
