Selvaraj (40) hails from Kurukkalayanpatti, next to Eriodu area near Vedasandur in Dindigul district. He has been farming his garden in the same area. After finishing work in the garden the night before yesterday, he stayed at the garden house with his mother Soundarammal (60). The milkman then came to his garden house yesterday morning to milk him. The mother and son were then brutally mutilated and murdered in their beds.

On that basis, Dindigul Goods Police Deputy Chief Rupas Kumar Meena, District Superintendent Srinivasan and Vedasandur Deputy Superintendent Mahesh immediately rushed to the spot and started investigation. Forensic experts were called to the scene and a sniffer dog was brought in and a serious investigation is underway as to who the killers were. Similarly, 5 special forces were formed and the search for the killers took place.
During the investigation, it was revealed that Subhashini, the wife of the deceased Selvaraj, got acquainted with Kopikrishnan and the two plotted for money and Selvaraj killed both of them ready Thayaram Sundarammal. Police arrested the two, seized the vehicle used in the murder and are investigating.
