WASHINGTON – Tired of living in a densely populated country? It turns out that there are many countries with low population density. People will not see humans too much.

The country does not mean that it has a small population, but because the country is large, but the population is not too large.

Countries with lower population densities tend to have minimal interference in business, social liberties, and taxes.

Here are 10 countries with low population density.

1. Greenland

Greenland has a population density of 0.14 people per square kilometer (0.36 people per square mile).

With such a low population per square kilometer, Greenland is the least populated country in the world. Fewer than 57,000 people live in a space of 2.2 million square kilometers. Greenland is the world’s largest island in the North Atlantic Ocean and is part of the Kingdom of Denmark.

Its Atlantic coast is home to more fjords and glaciers than people. Humpback whales, musk oxen, narwhals, and polar bears also outnumber humans. The island is looking to kick-start its tourism industry and there are also investment opportunities in energy, seafood and water.

2. Falkland Islands

The Falkland Islands have a population density of 0.31 people per square kilometer (one person per square mile).

The Falklands are a British Overseas Territory in the South Atlantic Ocean. This island group is located about 480 km (300 mi) northeast of the southern tip of South America. One of the less densely populated places, nearly 3,800 people live in about 12,000 sq km, although the population swelled when cruise ships bound south to Antarctica cut their journeys with stops.

The Falklands have been a British territory since 1833 and were the subject of war with Argentina in 1982.
