The price of apple mango shaved ice at luxury hotels is rising one after another and is well over the 100,000 won range.
Apple mango shaved ice priced at 130,000 won was introduced at Signiel Seoul, and the price of apple mango shaved ice at Hotel Shilla, which attracted much attention, exceeded 100,000 won this year.

The price of apple mango shaved ice sold at ‘Peninsula Lounge & Bar’ in Lotte Hotel Jeju is 92,000 won this year, a 12.2% increase from 82,000 won last year, approaching 100,000 won.
An official from Lotte Hotels & Resorts explained, “The price changed due to changes in plating and equipment.”
Apple Mango Shaved Ice, which Shilla Hotel in Seoul will be selling at its lounge and bar ‘The Library’ from the 26th, is priced at 102,000 won. It rose by about 4.1% from last year’s 98,000 won.
The price of Shilla Hotel’s Apple Mango Shaved Ice has steadily risen from 64,000 won in 2021 to 83,000 won in 2022 and 98,000 won last year, but finally broke the 100,000 won barrier this year.
A Hotel Shilla official explained, “It is inevitable to increase the price due to the increase in prices such as food material costs,” and “The cost exceeds 50% of the selling price, and we took into account all costs such as labor costs.”
The price of Melon Mango Shaved Ice, which will be sold from the 1st of next month at Grand Walkerhill Seoul The Pavilion, is set at 73,000 won, a 5.8% increase from last year’s 69,000 won.
Four Seasons Hotel Seoul set the price of Jeju Apple Mango Shaved Ice at 126,000 won last year, up 31% from the previous year. This year, without raising the price any further, Jeju Apple Mango Shaved Ice was upgraded to ‘Jeju Apple Mango Pavlova Shaved Ice’.
On the other hand, hotel shaved ice with lower prices has also appeared and is attracting attention.
The price for one person of ‘Chestnut-Yanggaeng Red Bean Bingsu’ and ‘Tomato Bingsu’, which were newly launched from May 1st in reflection of recent trends at the ‘Lobby Lounge’ of InterContinental COEX operated by Parnas Hotel, is 35,000 won, and the regular menu is 35,000 won. It is 55,000 won.
Mango shaved ice is priced at 42,000 won for the single menu and 67,000 won for the regular menu.
