Balance of the “End of the year and new year”.
Thanks to the behavior of citizens and the institutional deployment of more than 650 police men and women throughout the metropolitan area, this year-end celebration was guaranteed.
Within the framework of the “Always Present” Christmas Security Plan, the National Police in Manizales accompanied citizens during the closure and the beginning of the new year.

On January 1, during the return plan, more than 50,000 vehicles entered the city and 10 summonses were made for traffic violations and five immobilizations were carried out.
The Manizales Metropolitan Police will continue to carry out actions that prevent events that affect the security, tranquility and life of citizens, guaranteeing an environment of peace and tranquility, inviting the community to tolerance and respect.
