Dhaka district administration has recovered government land worth about 12 crore taka from Dhalpur area of ​​Jatrabari in the capital.

Monday (April 8) under the direction of Dhaka Deputy Commissioner Anisur Rahman and Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) Md. Under the supervision of Shibli Sadiq, Motijheel Revenue Circle Assistant Commissioner (Land) and Executive Magistrate Mahamudul Hasan conducted a raid and recovered 25.97 century Khas land of City No. 2110 of Khatian, Brahmanchiran Moujastha No. 1. At the same time, Dhaka district administration took possession and control of Khas land by pulling ownership signboards on behalf of the government. Surveyors of Motijheel Revenue Circle and related land assistant officers, officials of Jatrabari Police Station and prominent people of the area were present during the operation.

In this context, Deputy Commissioner Anisur Rahman said that many valuable Khas lands in different parts of Dhaka district have been occupied illegally for a long time by different occupiers. Today, the district administration recovered government private land worth about 12 crore rupees from Dhalpur area of ​​Jatrabari. Such operations of district administration will continue to protect these special lands.

It is known that this land was illegally occupied by some dishonest businessmen for a long time. Illegal squatters used to collect rent by building tin houses on Khas land and constructing garages for rickshaws, vans and CNG-powered auto-rickshaws.
