12 people were killed when a tanker truck carrying petrol exploded in Nigeria.

A tanker truck traveling on a highway in Kogi province lost control and collided with a car coming across the road and exploded.

Many vehicles on the road caught fire. Police said that 12 people died and many more were injured in the tragic accident.
