At least 13 people have been killed after a truck carrying explosives exploded at a gold mine in Ghana.
The ammunition was transported by truck to the Chirano gold mine, which is operated by a Canadian company. A two-wheeler collided with a lorry passing through the village of Abiat, setting the lorry on fire and exploding ammunition inside.
This created a 66-foot-wide ditch in the area. The doors and roofs of nearby buildings were ripped open. Thirteen people were killed in the crash.
