In 2010, the world followed for 68 days the rescue operation of 33 workers from inside a copper and gold mine in the Atacama desert, in Chile. Thirteen years later, the Chilean government will have to compensate the miners for the traumatic experience in US$ 1.4 million (R$ 6.95 million). The reparation will be shared between 31 of the 33 miners – two survivors did not participate in the lawsuit.
