Registration is open for the 13th Penedo Film Circuit. Films of up to 25 minutes in length can be submitted for selection, as long as they have not participated in selections in previous editions of Circuito Penedo. Entries can be made by the site until the 14th of July.
Three competitive shows are part of the Circuit: the 16th Brazilian Film Festival, open to all filmmakers, with no approach restrictions, except advertising and institutional films; O 13th University Film Festival of Alagoas, aimed at productions made at higher education institutions and technical film schools in any part of the country; and the 10th Velho Chico Environmental Film Festivalwhich receives short films with themes directed to the environment, with an approach in the natural and anthropic environments.
In addition to the traditional competitive shows, the Circuit presents the 12th edition of the Children’s Film Festival, which is also receiving proposals for short films. Filmmakers can register via the website. The Circuit will be held in a hybrid format from the 13th to the 19th of November.
