14 million at its peak: how much is Beavers Natcho worth?

by time news

The Israeli national team opened the campaign in the Euro qualifiers yesterday in the home game against the Kosovo national team and the one who said goodbye to it was Beavers Natcho. The Israeli midfielder is considered one of the oldest captains in the Israeli national team, with 88 appearances. He is fifth only to Yossi Benyon, Tal Ben Haim, Eric Benado and Alon Harazi. Over the years, Natcho has become a consensus in Israeli football and also in clubs from the second division in Europe.

Natcho parted ways with the Israel national team at the age of 35. The relationship grew in Hapoel Tel Aviv and his first European stop was Rubin Kazan to which he was sold for a million euros. During four years in Russia he became the most significant player and in 2014 he was sold to Pauk Thessaloniki for a record sum of 12 million euros. Natcho was unable to acclimatize in Greece and played 17 games until he was sold back to Russia, to CSKA Moscow, for 9 million euros. In CSKA’s uniform, he also reached the Champions League and even scored the first goal in a 2:2 draw against Manchester City. In those days, the player’s value even reached 14 million euros, but the Russians did not want to part with the Israeli connection at all.

After four years in Russia, Natcho returned to Greece again and was sold to Olympiakos for about 5 million euros. After one season in Greece, Natcho again chose to leave and moved to Serbia, to Partizan Belgrade, for 2 million euros.

The relationship’s salary also had its ups and downs. In the first years, in the Robin and Pauque uniforms, the midfielder’s salary was 1.5 million euros. It kept increasing with the move to CSKA up to 2.5 million euros, while at Partizan his salary reaches 600 thousand euros per season.

In Natcho’s 87 appearances in the national team, he scored 4 goals. His first appearance as captain of the Israeli national team was in a practice match against the Romanian national team when Alon Hazan was then the temporary coach of the national team and thus the two come full circle.

Unlike Natcho who retired from the Israeli national team, recently there were other players who retired for various reasons. He joins Monas Davor, Omar Atzili, Eran Zahavi and Dia Saba.
