[Date]

Seven Keijlard, a 14-year-old teenager from Heerhugowaard, has tragically lost his battle with cancer. Despite his illness, Seven had shown remarkable strength and determination, raising over 10,000 euros for children with cancer through his own clothing line. A memorial service will be held on Friday to honor his life and legacy.

Seven Keijlard, a brave and resilient 14-year-old from Heerhugowaard, has sadly passed away. He battled cancer for three years before succumbing to the disease on Monday morning, surrounded by his loving relatives.

“I still have so many things to do in my life that I don’t have time to die,” Seven said in an interview about his clothing line three years ago.

When Seven was only 11 years old, he started his own clothing line called ’24Seven – No Time To Die.’ With his unique designs on shirts, sweaters, and face masks, he managed to raise more than 10,000 euros for Villa Joep, a foundation that supports children with cancer.

Despite undergoing grueling treatments, Seven’s spirit remained strong. He was declared cancer-free for a period, allowing him to enjoy his passions, such as skating and traveling. However, in March 2022, the cancer returned, and Seven faced new challenges.

Over the past year, Seven’s clothing line continued to thrive, even as he battled his illness. The messages of support he received from people on Instagram provided him with immense encouragement.

After a brief period of hope, Seven’s health rapidly declined. He experienced severe headaches and nausea and was admitted to the hospital multiple times. Ultimately, it was discovered that he had a metastasis in his brain, and surgery was performed.

Despite a successful operation, Seven later suffered a brain hemorrhage and was deemed beyond the realm of recovery. His parents remained by his side, witnessing his strength, wisdom, and determination during his final days.

“It’s incredible how strong and wise he was. How he dealt with his illness and the pain,” his father shared.

Seven will be laid to rest on Friday, September 29. A commemoration with a guard of honor will be held in the Oudorp skate park, where friends and loved ones are invited to pay their final respects. In memory of Seven, his parents will continue his mission to eradicate childhood cancer by raising funds for Villa Joep through his clothing line.

Seven’s passing has deeply affected his community, leaving a void that will not easily be filled. He leaves behind a legacy of strength, resilience, and compassion that will continue to inspire others.
