Since the beginning of the repeated invasion on February 24, 2022, the Russians have lost 8,997 tanks, 17,969 armored personnel carriers, 19,459 cannons and mortars, 1,231 multi-charge jets, 978 anti-aircraft artillery, 369 airplanes, 329 helicopters, 2 620 cruise missiles, 28 ships and speedboats, one submarine, 26,732 cars and tankers, as well as 3,441 units of specialized equipment.
The extent of Russia’s losses is being clarified, as the acquisition of information is hindered by hostilities.
On Wednesday night, Russian troops sent 136 flying robots to Ukraine, of which Ukrainian soldiers managed to destroy 51, another 60 drones fell by themselves, and two returned to Russia, the Ukrainian Air Force reports.
More than 20 more drones are still in the air.
Russian drones were shot down in Sumy, Cherkasy, Kirovohrad, Ternopil, Kherson, Kharkiv, Zhytomyr, Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Mykolaiv, Kyiv, Poltava, Chernihiv and Chernivtsi regions.
