The Paris prosecutor’s office announced, Wednesday May 1, the placement in police custody of 19 people among the 45 arrested on the sidelines of the Parisian Labor Day parade. At the start of the evening, the police prefect, Laurent Nuñez, reported 13 police officers and gendarmes injured. At least seven of them were the target of an agricultural bomb, according to the authorities. A vehicle and four trash cans were set on fire and a McDonald’s restaurant was damaged.
