(ANSA) – PRATO, 12 AUGUST – Investigations are underway in Prato into the death of a 19-year-old Chinese man found lifeless on Sunday evening, shortly before 11 p.m., in via delle Badie. He was found lifeless on the pavement. The Carabinieri are investigating the incident. Based on the injuries found on his body, the military’s hypothesis is that he fell from a height. He may have fallen from the top floor of a small three-story apartment building in the Grignano area. Investigations are ongoing. Italians and Chinese people live in the building. The hypothesis being examined by investigators, formulated based on the injuries found on the body found lifeless on the pavement, is that death occurred following a fall from a height. According to initial reconstructions, the 19-year-old, of oriental origin, may have fallen from the top floor of his home, in a small three-story apartment building in the Grignano area. It is a building inhabited by both Italian and Chinese families, with some commercial activities on the ground floor. The investigations are ongoing also with the collection of testimonies. The investigations are coordinated by the Prato prosecutor’s office and are conducted by the Carabinieri, who at the moment are not excluding any leads. (ANSA).
