Iran announced on Sunday that it had begun work on enriching nuclear fuel uranium to 20 percent at its Fordow nuclear power plant.
Iran made this announcement in order to put pressure on those countries to revive the nuclear agreement they made with the superpowers in 2015.
UN Former US President Donald Trump has again imposed economic sanctions on Iran after withdrawing from the deal Iran made with the permanent members of the Security Council and with Iran. Since then, Iran has been enriching uranium at high rates in defiance of the deal.
