Director Aamir has penned a heart-warming letter on the 20th anniversary of the release of Maunam Pasiate.

It has been 20 years since the release of my first film ‘Maunam Pasithe’ which earned me that mark. I am happy to share this moving moment with you.
The dream of everyone who invaded towards Chennai – cinema did not come true. To Aparajith Films including Ganesh Raghu and Venki Narayanan, the producers of the movie ‘Maunam Pasiate’, who took me by the hand and raised me as one of the crowd carrying such dreams and made my screen dream come true.
