In Copenhagen, near the Israeli embassy, on the anniversary of the Hamas terrorist attack on Israel on October 7, an explosion occurred. The incident happened about 500 meters from the embassy building, just days after two previous bombings in the area for which two Swedish citizens were detained.
This was reported by the Telegram channel “Today in Israel”.
Copenhagen police have launched an investigation to determine whether there is a link between the latest explosion and previous incidents at the Israeli embassy. According to police inspector Trine Moller, there is no evidence yet to confirm such a connection, but this aspect continues to be carefully studied.
Swedish intelligence agency Sapo previously suggested Iran’s possible involvement in the October 2 bombings in Denmark, as well as in the shooting near the Israeli embassy in Stockholm.
Israeli sources, according to The Times of Israel, believe that today’s explosion was caused by a flashbang grenade. Moreover, the grenade was most likely thrown near the residence of a member of the Jewish community, and not at the embassy itself.
Earlier, Kursor reported about an explosion near the Israeli Embassy in New Delhi.
Police saw the suspects in surveillance footage.
Kursor also wrote that Hamas terrorists were preparing a massive attack on the anniversary of October 7.
According to media reports, Hamas terrorists planned to launch dozens of rockets deep into Israel.
