jpnn.com – JAKARTA – Ahead of the 2024 PPPK registration, the Ministry of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform is encouraging all regional governments (Pemda) to gather all non-ASN or honorary employees.

Acting Deputy for Human Resources of the Ministry of PANRB Aba Subagja said that this step needs to be taken so that all honorary employees can take part in the 2024 PPPK selection.

“We encourage local governments to gather non-ASN so they can take part in the PPPK selection,” said Aba during a Working Meeting with Commission II of the Indonesian House of Representatives, Senayan, Jakarta, Wednesday (28/8).
The work meeting, which was also attended by the Minister of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform Abdullah Azwar Anas and the Acting Head of BKN Haryono Dwi Putranto, discussed the progress of the discussion of the Draft PP on ASN Management, in relation to the resolution of the honorary problem.

Aba explained that although the number of PPPK 2024 formations provided was not comparable to the number of honorary positions, all non-ASN had the opportunity to register.

“Those who are actively working are still given the opportunity to take the test,” said Aba, while emphasizing that the determination of graduation is based on the best score, not using the passing grade.

It was also stated that based on the BKN database, the number of honorary workers is 2.3 million.

Of this number, around 571 thousand honorary workers have become ASN PNS and PPPK.

So, currently there are still around 1.7 million non-ASN or honorary workers remaining.
