Lahore | At least 22 people have been killed in a road accident in Pakistan following a snowstorm. Nine of these are children. The incident took place on Saturday in a room in a popular hill station in Pakistan’s Punjab province.
All the roads to the city were blocked as thousands of tourist vehicles entered the room. With this, the tourists were trapped inside the vehicle for hours.
Punjab Chief Minister Usman Busdar has directed the government to expedite the rescue operation and provide assistance to isolated tourists. The Punjab government has declared a state of emergency in hospitals, police stations and government offices
