Meena got married to Vidya Sagar in 2009 after making her debut as a child star in Tamil cinema and rose to become a leading lady. They have a daughter named Nainika. Nainika is also acting in films.
Meanwhile, Meena’s husband Vidya Sagar died of lung infection caused by pigeon waste last year. Unable to recover from that grief, Meena’s fellow actresses took her to foreign places and brought her back to normalcy little by little.
