The friendly match between Albania and Armenia will take place on August 14. As we already informed, the head coach of the Armenian national team, Vardan Minasyan, invited 29 football players. Iranian “Rah Ahan” defender Valery Aleksanyan was also among those invited. Today it became clear that Aleksanyan will not participate in the team’s training session due to an injury. “I got injured at the end of the match with Malavan. As a result of preliminary medical examination, it was found that there is a bone injury. Now I’m taking a physiotherapy course, naturally I don’t exercise. In 4 days, I will be checked by the doctor once again, after which the nature of the injury will become clear,” Aleksanyan said in a conversation with the official FFA website.
Dortmund “Borussia” midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan will also not participate in the training session, as he has not yet fully recovered from his injury. Mkhitaryan will also miss the match of the first round of the German championship with “Augsburg”.
The striker of “Siberia” Mikhail Markosov will not come to the national team either, because the latter plays in the Russian National Football League and will be considered a legionnaire in his club if he plays for another country’s national team.
