3,000 homes were destroyed in a fire in a Rohingya refugee camp in Bangladesh.
The refugee camp in Cox’s Bazar is home to thousands of Rohingya who fled the country in fear of the Myanmar army.
The fire that broke out suddenly in the camp yesterday quickly spread to the houses there. As a result, the fire spread several feet high.
According to officials, 3,000 houses in the camp and a primary health center were completely damaged in the fire.
While the cause of the fire is not known, no casualties have been reported.
