Data for Monday 4th July. The positivity rate was 27.9% with 129,908 swabs. Hospitalizations (+436) and intensive care (+12) are on the rise

36,282 new infections from Covid have been registered in the last 24 hours, according to data from the Ministry of Health. Yesterday the infected were 71,947 (here the bulletin). The victims are 59, two more than yesterday’s 57. A total of 129,908 swabs with the positivity rate which stands at 27.9%, stable compared to 27.4% yesterday. There are 303 patients admitted to intensive care, 12 more than yesterday. The daily admissions are 27. The hospitalized in the ordinary wards are 7,648, 436 more than yesterday.

I total swabs (molecular and antigenic) processed are 129.908, or 132,649 less than yesterday when there were 262,557. The 27.9% positive rate; yesterday it was 27.4%.

Campania to have the highest number of newly infected (+4,837). Followed by Lazio (+4.777), Emilia-Romagna (+4.070), Lombardy (+3.249).
