It was revealed after determining the credit rating of four companies listed in the capital market. The companies are – BBS Cables PLC, Eastern Cables Limited, Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC and Unilever Consumer Care Limited.

Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) informed this information on Tuesday (December 12).

BBS Cables: The credit rating of the company has been determined by National Credit Rating Limited. The company has long-term ‘A+’ and short-term ‘ST-2’ ratings. This rating is based on the company’s audited financial statements for the financial year ended June 30, 2023.

Eastern Cables: The credit rating of the company is determined by Credit Rating Information and Services Limited. The company has long-term ‘A-‘ and short-term ‘ST-3’ ratings. This rating is based on the company’s audited financial report for the financial year ended June 30, 2023 and unaudited financial report for the financial year ended December 31, 2023.

Shahjalal Islami Bank: The credit rating of the company has been determined by Emerging Credit Rating Limited. The company has long-term ‘AA+’ and short-term ‘ST-2’ ratings. This rating is based on the company’s audited financial report for the financial year ended December 31, 2023.

Unilever: The credit rating of the company has been determined by Emerging Credit Rating Limited. The company has long-term ‘AA-‘ and short-term ‘ST-2’ ratings. This rating is based on the company’s audited financial report for the financial year ended December 31, 2023.
