Kia India is all set to launch the new EV6 electric car model in the Indian market. Booking for the new Kia EV6 model is set to begin on May 26th. The launch of the Kia EV6 will also begin following the launch event.
The new Kia EV6 electric car model will be imported to India as fully manufactured units. In that sense, it is possible that the car will go on sale in limited numbers. It is said that only 100 units of the Kia EV6 model will be brought to India for the first year.

Earlier, photos and videos of the Kia EV6 model being tested in Hyderabad were leaked on the internet. In that sense it was said that this model will be released in India soon. Performance and Range:
In terms of features, the Kia EV6 electric car has a 77.4 kWh battery. This is 320 hp per car. Power, 605 Newton meters expresses torque. With this the new Kia EV6 model is capable of going up to 425 km on full charge. The same car is also available with a slightly smaller, 58 kWh battery. This model is available in rear wheel drive and all wheel drive versions.
Platform:
The EV6 model, which will be built on Hyundai Motor Company’s Global e-GMP platform, will be Kia’s first electric car to be built on the platform for a dedicated battery vehicle. Kia has a long-term plan to sell battery vehicles, plug-in hybrid and hybrid electric vehicles.
Accordingly, Kia has set a target of 40% of Kia’s total vehicle sales by 2030 being hybrid electric vehicles. Kia has also decided to launch a total of 11 new electric vehicles by 2026.
