Newly appointed 5 state ministers, women whips and members of parliament from reserved women constituencies laid wreaths at the tomb of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman in Tungipara, Gopalganj.

They reached Tungipara on Wednesday (March 6) afternoon and paid their respects at the tomb of the Father of the Nation. Later on August 15, they prayed for the salvation of the souls of all the martyrs including Bangabandhu.

Begum Shamsur Nahar, State Minister of Education Ministry, Planning State Minister Md. Shahiduzzaman government, Minister of State for Finance Washika Ayesha Khan, State Minister for Health and Family Welfare Begum Rokeya Sultana, State Minister for Culture Nahid Izahar Khan, State Minister for Local Government Rural Development and Cooperatives. Abdul Wadud, women whip advocate Sanjida Khanam and MPs from reserved women’s seats Najma Akhter, Farida Yasmin and others.

Also Gopalganj District Awami League President Md. Mahbub Ali Khan, Additional Deputy Commissioner Farhana Jahan Upma, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Education and ICT). Golam Kabir, Additional Superintendent of Police (Sadar Circle). Khairul Alam, Tungipara Sheikh Tozammel Haque Tutul, Tungipara Police Station OC Khandaker Aminur Rahman and other officials and local leaders of Awami League.
