In an event that shocked the community of Sancti Spíritus, a complaint circulated through social networks indicating that a five-year-old boy was physically attacked by his teacher at a preschool school.

The news, which generated a wave of indignation, was published by Lizandra Liens on her Facebook profile, where she explains her nephew’s case.

“Today with immense pain I am making this public complaint so that the world knows about the abuses that are being committed in Cuban schools. “This one you see here (post) is my nephew who is barely 5 years old, attending preschool,” He started saying.

According to Liens’ story, the minor was hit with a toy machete, resulting in a serious injury that required hospitalization.

The seriousness of the matter is accentuated by the fact that the boy himself was the one who recounted the events, which of course adds credibility to his testimony.

“The teacher took a toy machete and hit the boy. This blow caused fluid to enter his lung. The child is hospitalized in Sancti Spíritus. From the very mouth of the child he tells everything that happened,” Liens reported.

In the comments section, many Internet users, from Sancti Spíritus and other locations, expressed their discomfort about it. Some expressed solidarity with the family, while others attacked the alleged aggressor.

“My God, Cuba is getting worse every day, it is not easy, and with a child you should no longer stand in front of a classroom. They are there to educate, not to give. “Let your little nephew recover soon, he doesn’t deserve to go through that little thing.”said one user.

Naturally, the minor’s family now demands a response from the authorities, while at the same time ensuring that, whatever the case, the “educator” will pay for her act of violence.
