New Delhi: Ola’s electric car will hit the market in 2024. Ola founder and CEO Bhavish Agarwal introduced the company’s vehicle to the nation. Agarwal said that the Ola Electric car can travel a distance of 500 km on a single charge.

The car will have facilities including state-of-the-art computer, assisted driving capabilities, keyless and handleless doors. The car will have Ola’s own Move OS. Car owners will get regular OTA updates.

“We believe that India needs to become the global epicenter of the EV revolution and dominate 25 percent of the world’s auto market. When we build for India, it becomes a model for other countries of the world,’ Agarwal said.

“We have missed semiconductor, solar, electronic and other manufacturing revolutions. “If we invest now, we can lead the market for electric cells and batteries,” he added.

The car will have a completely glass roof. The car will have better assisted driving facilities than any other in the world. Ola CEO said that it will not have a key and handle.

The company said it will launch 100 Hyperchargers in 50 cities. The company has launched the new Ola S1 scooters with Ola Premium design at Rs 99,999.
