The founder of the African Business Club in Russia, Louis Gowind, announced today, Saturday, that almost all of the 54 independent countries on the African continent want to develop cooperation with Russia at all levels.

Gowind said: “For some years the volume of mutual trade with Russia was 2% of the volume of trade with African countries, and now it is about 4%.
“Obviously, the new geopolitical situation that has emerged around the world after February 2022 has greatly facilitated this,” Gowind added.
“Almost all of the 54 independent states on the continent are now interested in developing a multifaceted relationship with Moscow,” Gowind emphasized.
He ended his speech by saying: “In some countries there are elites in power who are loyal to the West, but even in these countries people, unlike the authorities, want to build normal relations with Russia.”
