Tamil Nadu Group Camp in Delhi
Chief Minister MK Stalin has set up a committee comprising MPs, MLAs and IAS officers to rescue Tamil Nadu students stranded in Ukraine. The delegation, led by state councilor Trichy Siva, met Union Foreign Minister S. Jaisankar in Delhi and asked him to take steps to rescue Tamil Nadu students.
During the meeting, the committee members were accompanied by Dr. Weerasamy, MM Abdullah, Chief Secretary of the Tamil Nadu House Athulya Misra and Commissioner of Overseas Indians Jacintha Lazarus.
The group, which is based in Delhi, held consultations yesterday. Steps have been taken to send students from Ukraine to Tamil Nadu by private plane. In addition, all the necessary facilities including food have been provided to the students coming to Delhi to stay at the Tamil Nadu Home.
