Abu Dhabi: The number of new covid cases is decreasing in the UAE. According to the official data released by the Ministry of Health and Defense of the country, 792 people have been confirmed to be infected with the Covid-19 virus in the country today. For the past several days, the number of daily covid cases in the UAE has continued to drop below a thousand.

In the last 24 hours, 688 Kovid patients who were under treatment in the country have recovered. No new covid deaths have been reported in the country in the last 24 hours. New patients in the country were detected from 149,376 newly conducted covid tests.

According to the figures so far, a total of 1,005,543 people have been confirmed to be infected with the Covid-19 virus in the UAE. Of these, 984,142 people have already recovered. A total of 2,339 people have died due to covid in the country. Currently there are 19,062 covid patients in the country.

Dubai: As the dust storm worsened, some flights were diverted to land at the Dubai airport. Flights were diverted including to Al Maktoum Airport. Around 10 flights were diverted.

Heavy dust storms were experienced in Dubai and Abu Dhabi throughout Sunday. Visibility drops below 500 meters. The atmosphere darkened. The National Meteorological Center has issued a red alert. People have been advised not to go out as much as possible. Due to the rains in the northern emirates, caution has been issued in the areas of Fujairah which recently experienced floods. According to the Meteorological Department, the unstable weather will continue till Thursday.
