A car bomb has exploded in the Somali capital, Mogadishu, killing at least eight people.
The bomber struck shortly after noon in front of a mosque on the way to the airport in the Hammerwine district, according to a local source.
When he came out of the mosque, he saw that the old houses in the area had collapsed and the bodies of the dead were lying on the ground, he said. No group has so far claimed responsibility for the bombing.
