Nürnberg – Finally blue night again!

For the first time after a forced break of three years, Nuremberg’s major cultural event will take place on May 7th, 2022 with a 450-hour program at 80 locations!

The highlights will be the castle projection by the Fürth artist Sascha Banck (41) and a spectacular video projection on the main market.

Andreas Radlmeier (64) from the cultural office: “For the first time, three buildings are illuminated. In addition to the New Town Hall, the Frauenkirche and a gastro building.”

There is also shadow theater by the winners of the French “Supertalent” on the closed Lessingstrasse, wool spinning in the historic rock passages and a silent disco (music via headphones) on the Kornmarkt.

Fictitious stories about the city are told in a vintage tram, and Schmitt and Sons perform funny acrobatics at the Hadermühle.

Mayor Julia Lehner (68): “We are very happy that with the Blue Night we can send a signal to start the cultural spring in Nuremberg.”
