90-year-old Canadian actor William Shatner, famous for his role as Captain Kirk in the TV series Star Trek (“Star Trek”), will go into space. Blue Origin has announced that Shatner will fly aboard the New Shepard on October 12.

The actor will go on the flight with Audrey Powers, vice president of missions and flights at Blue Origin.

“I have known about space for a long time. And I will take the opportunity to see it with my own eyes. What a miracle,” Shatner commented on this event.

Former NASA engineer Chris Boschuisen and entrepreneur Glen de Vries will also fly on this ship.
