by time news

Former ADMK member Jayakumar has said that DMK is trying to get rid of the Congress party and form an alliance with the BJP.

A demonstration was held in Cuddalore yesterday (December 17) on behalf of the ADMK against the DMK government and demanding compensation for those who had given land to the NLC company in Neyveli and surrounding villages. Rajya Sabha MP and ADMK former minister CV Shanmugam spoke in this demonstration.

At that time, he said, “The central government, which has acquired land in other states, is deceiving only the people of Tamil Nadu by giving proper compensation and not giving compensation. The DMK is carrying out all the work that the central BJP government tells them to do. The same has happened in the case of NLC. When they go to Delhi, they change. They are begging the central government. DMK is going to form an alliance with BJP in the coming parliamentary elections. Either come and join us. If not, the BJP’s condition is to leave the Congress,” said CV Shanmugam.

BJP leaders are protesting against this. In this situation, ADMK’s former minister Jayakumar, who has commented in this regard, has said that CV Shanmugam has spoken the truth.

Jayakumar, who met the press, said that with one year left for the parliamentary elections, the DMK is scrambling to ditch the Congress party and form an alliance with the BJP. This is what CV Shanmugam has said. DMK is doing opportunistic politics, he said.
