Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya has advised the states to be vigilant.
The mutated PF7 coronavirus spreading in China has once again caused concern among the world. In this regard, a high-level consultation meeting was held yesterday in Delhi under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi. States including Tamil Nadu also consulted.
Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya held a discussion with the State Health Ministers regarding the spread of Corona Virus at 3 pm today. Consultations were held on expansion of facilities for corona screening at airports, state vaccination status and corona restrictions.
Addressing the gathering, Union Minister Mansukh Mandavia said, “States should be alert and prepared to control Corona. He mentioned that the central and state governments should work together in the same way as they worked to prevent the previous corona waves.

Further, he mentioned that the strategy of test-trace-treat-vaccinate and adhere to the Corona regulations should be continued as a preventive measure against Corona. He also advised to ensure hospital infrastructure facilities.
