To arrest the family of a regime opponent: Iran forced a plane to land on its territory

by time news

Iran’s state television broadcast a video describing Iran’s response in the event of an attack on its nuclear facilities by Israel. In the video, Tehran threatens with missile strikes that will destroy targets and the contents of the Dimona reactor within minutes, and “wipe Tel Aviv off the map.” Meanwhile, amid the ongoing hijab protest, Iran committed an act of air piracy when it forced an international civilian flight to make an emergency landing in its territory.

This is to arrest the family members of the “soccer legend” Ali Dai, an avowed critic of the regime in the last protest, and prevent them from leaving the country.
This is the flight of the former Iranian company, today owned by Venezuela, Mahan, which took off from Tehran to Dubai with the footballer’s wife and daughter on board. The flight was landed on the orders of the security personnel at the airport on Kish Island. Eyewitnesses said that the security forces forced the family off the plane and told them that they were forbidden to leave Iran.

Ali Dei is considered the greatest Iranian footballer of all time. He played, among other things, as a professional in Germany (also in the uniform of Bayern Munich) and for 13 years (1993-2006) in the Iranian national team where he scored 109 goals, the all-time record in national football – until Cristiano Ronaldo broke the record about a year and a half ago.
The President of Iran Ibrahim Raisi spoke yesterday at a soldiers’ funeral in Tehran and said that “there will be no mercy for hostile opponents of the Islamic Republic”, whom he defined as “hypocrites, royalists and anti-revolutionaries”.

He referred to the West and said: “While the Western countries and the United States are trying to portray the Islamic Republic as a weak and flawed country in their propaganda campaign, they are inviting Iran, through several channels, to negotiations, while making it clear that they have no plans for regime change in Iran.”

In addition, Raisi spoke about the mobilization of the forces of countries and “terrorist organizations” to spread rumors against the Islamic Republic, and warned against attempts to create divisions in the Iranian people. “Today our nation is full of unity, solidarity and integrity. The enemies should know that they will never be able to eliminate such unity and solidarity.”

Meanwhile, the newspaper “Tehran Times” claimed that Russia and Iran are building a new “transcontinental trade route”, which is beyond the reach of “any foreign interference”.
