Chief Minister M.K.Stalin has ordered to implement the increase in salary for government employees from today.
He also informed that the allowances for government officials and government teachers will be increased according to their request.

The government has increased the gratuity for government teachers and employees from 34 percent to 38 percent. According to this, 16 lakh government employees, teachers, pensioners etc. will benefit.
It is also reported that this 4 percent discount will cost the government an additional Rs 2,359 crore per year.
