The trailer of Ayesha, the first commercial Malayalam-Arabic film starring Manju Warrier in the lead role, is here. Directed by debutant Aamir Pallikal, the film is produced by director Zakaria. Written by Ashif Kakodi. Set in an Indo-Arabic backdrop, this family film has been shot entirely in the Gulf. Famous actor, director and dancer Prabhu Deva has choreographed the film, where dance is very important. About 70 percent of the actors in the film, shot in Arabic and Malayalam languages, are from other countries. Ayesha has been shot at the level of a world film.
Apart from Manju Warrier, foreign stars like Radhika, Sajna, Poornima, Latifah (Tunisia), Salama (UAE), Jennifer (Philippines), Sarafina (Nigeria), Sumayya (Yemen), Islam (Syria) are also lined up.’ Zakaria is building under the banner of Cross Border Camera. The film is co-produced by Shamsuddeen, Zakaria Vawat, Harris Desam, Anish PB and Bineesh Chandran under the banners Feather Touch Movie Box, Imagine Cinemas, Last Exit Cinemas and Movie Bucket.
B.K. Lyrics written by Harinarayanan and Suhail Koya. Jayachandran is directing the music. Indian and Arabic playback singers have sung in this film. Cinematography is handled by Vishnu Sharma.
