What is Yo-Yo Test?

The yo-yo test is a fitness test. It involves various phases. They choose a place 20 meters long and mark the beginning of the 20 meters as the starting point and the end as the ending point. A player participating in the Yo-Yo Test has to alternately run and touch the start and end points of this 20m. Scores are awarded depending on how many times the player can touch those two points in 40 seconds.

Sehwag once said!

Since the introduction of the yo-yo test, many senior players in the Indian cricket team have expressed their displeasure. Because players like Ambathi Rayudu and Sanju Samson had failed the test at the time of their debut. So, even young players sometimes struggle to pass the test. It is well known that fitness is a problem for some senior divers.
