Japan is followed by Singapore and South Korea in the list of world’s most powerful passports for 2023 according to the International Air Transport Association (IATA) list. Citizens of these two countries can travel visa-free to 192 countries around the world.
Three Asian countries have topped the list of world’s most powerful passports ahead of Europe and the US. Germany and Spain are ranked 4th and 5th, followed by Japan, Singapore and South Korea. People of this country can travel to 190 countries without visa.
Citizens of Finland, Italy and Luxembourg can travel to 189 countries without a visa. The list allows Indians to travel visa-free to only 59 countries.
The worst passport in the world is the passport of Afghanistan. Citizens of this country can visit only 27 countries without visa. Iraq and Syria are also on the worst list.
