The faction of the state camp will take part in a demonstration tomorrow (Matchash) in the Hiba square in Tel Aviv against the regime coup that the government wants to carry out and the damage to Israeli democracy.

The members of the state camp and hundreds of activists who had registered to arrive, left at 19:15 from a gathering point on Dizengoff Street at the corner of Sderot Han and from there they will join the demonstrators, with Israeli flags.

From the words of the chairman of the state camp Benny Gantz: “Tomorrow my friends of the state camp and I will go out to demonstrate against the plan for a regime coup. I call on the entire Israeli public, from the left and the right, to come and demonstrate for the preservation of Israeli democracy.”

“Raising one’s voice at this time is a civic duty of the first order and not civil rebellion as those who seek to suppress the demonstration are trying to claim.”

Gantz added: “I call on all the demonstrators to behave responsibly, and to avoid incitement and violence. I trust the Israel Police to behave appropriately – and allow the freedom of demonstration. We all need to obey the instructions.”

“Tomorrow in the square – they say yes to the amendment with a broad consensus, and not to destruction and division”, the MK’s words.
