New Delhi: The first day of the two-day national executive held by the BJP in the national capital ahead of the nine assembly elections this year has ended. The meeting assessed that the elections in nine states are seen as the semi-finals of the Lok Sabha elections to be held in 2024.
In a press conference, senior leader Ravi Shankar Prasad said that under the Modi government, India is progressing in many fields. India became the fifth largest economy in the world, surpassing even England. India is the second largest mobile phone manufacturer in the world. From 2013-14, when we were importing mobile phones, we have reached the level of exporting them.’- Ravi Shankar said.

He said that the party’s main goal is to win the elections in nine states to be held this year. ‘2023 is an important year for us. J.P. Nadda said in the meeting that as the Lok Sabha elections are to be held next year, victory should be ensured in the nine state elections this year as well. Will try to strengthen the party from Buthu level. It was found that the party is weak in 72,000 booths in 100 Lok Sabha constituencies across the country. This is where we need to be. But they reached 1.3 lakh booths and propagated party policies’ – said Ravi Shankar Prasad.
Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman also alleged that all the allegations made by the opposition have been shattered. Pegasus, Rafale, Central Vista, reservation, demonetisation…these are all the allegations leveled by the opposition against Prime Minister Narendra Modi. But all these have been proved to be baseless, Nirmala said.
Along with the Prime Minister, 35 Union Ministers, 12 Chief Ministers and 37 regional heads are participating in the National Executive Meeting. 350 party workers will be present in the meeting. BJP National President JP Nadda will inaugurate a mega exhibition on six themes as part of the meeting. Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s mega roadshow also took place on the first day of the National Executive.
