Actor Vijay Sethupathi’s success story has crossed Tamil and Malayalam and is reaching Bollywood. Directed by Atlee, Jawaan has Vijay Sethupathi in a very important role alongside Shahrukh Khan. The actor has recalled the days spent with Shah Rukh. When it comes to Bollywood superstars, Sethupathi is one hundred years old.
In an interview to a national media, Vijay Sethupathi said that he was very nervous on the first day of shooting and Shahrukh Khan gave him courage. Vijay Sethupathi added that Shahrukh encouraged him by saying that they can discuss the scene together.
“He was very sweet. It was a very good experience. I was a bit nervous on the first day because he is such a big artist. But he made me comfortable. He didn’t have a scene that day, but he was there for me. He is a gentleman. He didn’t say that he has been in films for many years or that he is a superstar,” Shah Rukh said. I didn’t imagine. I actually spent a lot of time with Shahrukh sir.” Vijay Sethupathi said.
Vijay Sethupathi had recently stepped into the web series arena with Farsi directed by Raj and DK. Shahid Kapoor, Rashi Khanna, K.K. Menon, Amol Palekar and Bhuvan Arora are other actors in the series. The series will reach the audience through Amazon Prime from February 10.
Vijay Sethupathi’s upcoming film Merry Christmas directed by Sriram Raghavan is about to hit the theatres. Katrina Kaif is the heroine in the film which will be released simultaneously in Hindi and Tamil languages.
