Gehenna, assets for 1 million euros confiscated in Raso

The restaurateur from Aosta was sentenced as part of the trial on the ‘Ndrangheta in Valle d’Aosta

AOSTA. The Turin Court confiscated assets for about 1 million euros from the restaurateur Antonio Raso, convicted in the first instance trial in Aosta on the ‘Ndrangheta.

The decision of the prevention measures section concerns assets already seized by Dia in 2019: stakes in three companies, including that of the Aostan restaurant La Rotonda at the center of the investigations by the carabinieri and the Antimafia, other financial relationships, some cars and two properties.

Raso, considered at the top of the local ‘Ndrangheta in Aosta, was sentenced last September to 13 years for mafia association and political – mafia electoral exchange.
